On Windows Vista, there is not option to enable or disable Hibernate. Here is the trick to do so…
To enable hibernation:
Click Start.
Type powercfg /hibernate on
Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
To disable hibernation:
Click Start.
Type powercfg /hibernate off
Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
